COMPONENT 4

Implement internal communication supporting the implementation of the project between stakeholders and external parties for information on the project and the dissemination of results nationally and internationally.

EXPECTED RESULTS

Capitalization and communication actions are developed and implemented. They promote the internal dynamics of the project and disseminate the results obtained to different target audiences.
Communication is at the service of all project partners to carry out their activities. Thus, communication activities will be deployed to support exchanges between agroecological initiatives, the promotion of results following the evaluation of initiatives and the dissemination of advocacy messages.

According to the principle of consultation, the communication strategy will be built collectively, as well as all the transversal communication tools (with possible adaptations according to the country). The tools developed and the messages to be prioritized within the framework of the communication strategy depend on the specific needs identified. Project communication will be carried out in convergence with the requirements of donors and partners (FFEM, GEF, FAO).

Identification et caractérisation d’initiatives existantes contribuant à la transition agroécologique des territoires dans les zones arides des 7 pays du projet.

Incrémentation du Centre de ressources sur la Lutte Contre la Désertification (LCD) du CARI et de la Plateforme de Connaissance Globale (GKP) de la FAO.

Organisation de rencontres d’échanges d’expériences entre accompagnateurs et praticiens de la transition agroécologique (national et international).

Carry out a diagnosis of the communication practices of the project partners.

Develop the global communication strategy and the country communication strategies.

Building the internal communication plan and implementing actions and procedures: steering committee meetings, general meetings, mailing list, etc.

Build the communication plan for the external communication "project" and implement all the planned actions: prepare the website, the project presentation leaflet, etc.

Build the communication plan for the external communication "results" and implement all the planned actions: scientific articles, country initiative sheets, summary sheets on the results of evaluations, etc.
